Free Busy Book Printable: Car Parking Lot Matching Game

When my first child was born I did a deep dive into busy books. I was sewing them, printing and laminating them, making cut outs and matching games. And I experienced a lot of trial and error as to which pages would actually get played with. By far, this was the most used page. They have so much fun matching the colors and then just playing imagination games by driving it around on the page. We would take it to church frequently and it would be the main toy that was played with. So without further adieu, here is the car matching game.

It is very simple. And it is pretty self explanatory. I personally…would laminate it!!! Are you tired of hearing that yet?

We have ours laminated and in a binder. We tried out the velcro circles and put one piece next to the color circle in each spot and then one on the back of the car. It works great in terms of holding the cars on for storage and placement but as I said above, we used it for church. And it was quite loud when the kids would tear the cars off to play again. So depending on how you plan to use it, you may just want to have the cars in a ziploc bag to access and store them. Or you could use sticky tac if your child wont pull it off and eat it.

Another great was to use this would be in a morning menu or morning activity for your child to do while you make breakfast! And hopefully, by the time your child outgrows this, they will know how to park properly within the lines and not take up two spaces so that no one else can park in the lot. Color matching and life lessons! Could it get any better?
